Community Guidelines

TeamWorker LLC strives to create a collaborative, respectful, and secure environment for all Users on the TeamWorker Platform1*. These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure that all interactions and activities conducted on the Platform are professional, fair, and in compliance with legal and ethical standards. By using the Platform, you agree to follow these guidelines and understand the consequences for any violations. These Community Guidelines form an inseparable part of the Terms of Service for the use of the TeamWorker Platform.

1. Respectful and Professional Communication

Our Platform is built to foster a respectful and professional environment for all users, including Clients and Service Providers. It is essential that all interactions, whether through direct messaging or project discussions, are conducted with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Treat others with respect: Harassment, offensive behavior, and discriminatory language are strictly prohibited.
  • Engage in constructive communication: Disagreements and conflicts should be resolved respectfully. Aim to offer solutions rather than criticism.
  • No spamming: Avoid sending unsolicited messages or promotional content unless it is relevant to your project or service offering.

2. Integrity and Accuracy of Information

Honesty and transparency are core values on the Platform. All Users are expected to provide accurate information in their profiles, project descriptions, Service Contracts, and any other communications related to the Platform.

  • Maintain accurate profiles: Ensure that your user profile, including qualifications, services, and previous experience, is truthful and up to date.
  • No false representations: Misleading or fraudulent activity, such as inflating your expertise or qualifications, will lead to account suspension or termination.
  • Authentic project descriptions: Clients should describe projects clearly and truthfully, while Service Providers should offer services they can deliver.

3. Privacy and Confidentiality

Respecting privacy and maintaining confidentiality are paramount to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment for all Users. All Users must handle personal and sensitive information with the utmost care and responsibility.

  • Safeguard personal and sensitive data: Users are obligated to protect and maintain the confidentiality of any personal, financial, or proprietary information shared during their use of the Platform. Any information disclosed should only be shared with authorized parties and only as necessary to fulfill project-related tasks or contractual obligations. Confidential information may be disclosed if required by applicable laws, court orders, regulatory authorities, or other lawful government requests. In such cases, disclosure shall be limited to the extent necessary to comply with the legal or regulatory obligation while ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place to protect the confidentiality of the information.
  • Limit access to confidential information: Users should refrain from disclosing or disseminating confidential data without explicit consent from the concerned parties. This includes, but is not limited to, business plans, technical data, intellectual property, and any other information marked as confidential or proprietary.
  • Compliance with data protection regulations: UUsers must comply with all applicable privacy laws and data protection regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, EU AI Act, and other relevant legal frameworks, to ensure the secure handling of personal data throughout their interaction with the Platform and working on projects.

4. Appropriate Content

Users are expected to refrain from uploading or sharing content that is inappropriate, illegal, or harmful to others.

  • Prohibited content: Do not upload or share any content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or violates intellectual property rights. This includes but is not limited to copyrighted materials, offensive images or language, and harmful software.
  • Respect intellectual property rights: Users must ensure that all content they provide, including text, images, software, and other resources, does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Compliance with the Platform’s Features and Tools

The Platform offers various features to enhance collaboration and project management. These features must be used as intended, in compliance with the Platform’s terms and functionality.

  • Milestone Feature: Clients and Service Providers should use the Milestone feature to define and track project stages. Payments should be made in accordance with the agreed-upon milestones, and statuses must be updated accurately to reflect project progress.
  • Team Collaboration: When working in teams, Service Providers should communicate openly and work collaboratively. The Team’s collective progress will be tracked through the Platform’s features, such as Milestones, and all members should be committed to meeting the project goals.

6. Algorithm for Automatic Team Generation

The Platform utilizes an algorithm and AI tool(s) to automatically generate Teams based on the specific requirements of a project and Criteria. The algorithm and AI tools are designed to match Service Providers with the appropriate skill sets and expertise needed for successful project execution. Users acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • No Warranty or Guarantee: The automatic generation of teams by the algorithm is done without warranty or guarantee of the outcome. The Company does not warrant that the generated team will always meet the expectations of the Client or result in successful project completion or meet the expectations of any other Users on the Platform. The algorithm works “as is” and the Company does not make any representations or guarantees about its accuracy, appropriateness, or completeness. Users acknowledge that they are using the Platform and its Services at their own risk and are responsible for verifying the suitability of team members for their specific project needs.
  • Intellectual Property: The algorithm used for the automatic generation of teams is the exclusive intellectual property of the Company, and all rights, title, and interest in the algorithm, including any associated methodologies, technologies, and processes, are owned by the Company. While Users retain ownership of any intellectual property created through their work on the Platform, the Company’s algorithm and its underlying structure are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and remain the sole property of the Company.
  • No Liability for Team Performance: The Company is not liable for the performance, cooperation, or results of the generated teams. It is the responsibility of the Client and Service Providers to ensure that the team members fulfill their obligations as outlined in the Service Contract and communicate effectively throughout the project.

7. Prohibition of Circumvention

The Platform's features, including project management tools and/or third party-provided tools, e.g., communication and payment features, are designed to facilitate secure and transparent interactions between all Users. Users are prohibited from bypassing the Platform for any purpose, including but not limited to off-Platform communication, payments, or service agreements.

  • Do not bypass the Platform: Once a relationship is established through the Platform, all project-related communication and payments must occur through the Platform throughout the duration of active projects and at least 2 years if there are no ongoing projects.
  • Do not share personal contact information: Users should refrain from sharing personal phone numbers, email addresses, or other direct contact information until a Service Contract has been formed and the project is ready to begin.

8. Fair Use and Non-Exploitation

Users are expected to make fair use of the Platform and its resources. The Platform should not be used to exploit other Users, engage in unethical practices, or manipulate project outcomes.

  • Fair work expectations: Clients should not demand unreasonable hours of work or outputs from Service Providers, and Service Providers should deliver work within the agreed terms.
  • Prevent abuse of the Milestone feature: Both Clients and Service Providers should use the Milestone feature to track real progress and make payments fairly based on agreed work completion.
  • No exploitation of users: Any attempt to manipulate other Users, such as offering unfair terms or unreasonably low compensation, will be considered a violation of the Community Guidelines.

9. Ethical use of AI solutions

We encourage the responsible and transparent use of AI across our platform. All Users should use AI tools to support and enhance their work—not to mislead or misrepresent. For example, AI-generated content must be clearly disclosed when required, and should not be passed off as entirely original or human-created if that misrepresents the nature of the work. Users are expected to ensure that any AI integrations respect user privacy, avoid bias, and uphold fairness. As a community, we are committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, and equal opportunity for all users in the evolving landscape of AI-assisted work.

10. Accountability and Dispute Resolution

Users are responsible for their actions and any content they upload or share on the Platform. If issues or disputes arise, Users should attempt to resolve them in good faith, or by contacting the support team if necessary.

  • Resolve disputes fairly and independently: In the event of a dispute between Users, the parties shall resolve the matter independently and amicably, without involving the Company. The Company encourages Users to communicate directly and seek mutually agreeable solutions.
  • Report misconduct: If you encounter any behavior that violates these guidelines, report it promptly by sending an email at [email protected]. The Company will investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Consequences for Violations

Failure to adhere to these Community Guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions or permanent termination of the User's account, or legal action at the Company’s own discretion.

12. Feedback and Improvement

The Platform values the input of all Users to continuously improve its services. Users are encouraged to provide feedback or suggestions on how the Platform can better serve the community.

  • Provide feedback: Users can submit feedback regarding their experience on the Platform or suggestions for improvements via [email protected].
  • Collaboration for improvements: The Company is committed to refining the Platform's features and policies to ensure a better, safer, and more productive environment for all.
